Anjuna Beach

The Anjuna beach in Goa is known for its full-moon (acid house) parties. Held for and by young tourists, these parties have attracted thousands of tourists. The trance party with dance, frolic, and merriment goes all night besides the fire. It is just the right place for lazing holidaymakers.

Besides the calm waters of the Arabian Sea lapping softly on the Indian shore, Anjuna comes alive with its ever-famous full-moon parties and the Wednesday flea market to take one onto a trance trip.

Anjuna Beach has been the haunt of the flower generation in the sixties and is now popular with the younger generations. It became popular because of its Trance Parties and the Hippies who tried to fuse the Eastern spiritual traditions with Western Music, ideas and art.

Baga Beach

Goa Baga beach is an option for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle found on the other beaches.

Baga Beach in Goa looks as if it has come straight out of a painting Majestic white waves rushing to wipe out the feet imprints left by you on the white sand while the wind continues to flirt with the palm trees.

The Baga beach is more of a Fishing beach with the tourists from across the world trying to get that big catch.

Anjuna Flea Market

Famous all over Goa the "ANJUNA FLEA MARKET", is worth a vist. Where you can shop, drink, enjoy music and roam around. Buyers and Seller from all round the world can be seen in this market.

This market was originally started in 1970's by the foreigners who wanted to sell off their second-hand goods like cameras, watches, clothes etc. Now it has emerged as one of the major attractions of Goa.

This market is full of Tibetan craft stalls, Nepalese and Kashmiri artefacts including jewellery, stones, rock bottom priced clothes, Variety of bags, bakery items (cakes, strudel and breads). Other stalls include Tattoing( both permanent & Mehndi), hair cutting etc.
